Shopic is an AI start-up specializing in retail solutions and shopping experiences. Our technology turns any shopping cart into a smart cart. We're looking for a Vice President of Product to lead our B2B2C product strategy, development, and execution. Strong leadership, management, and business acumen are required.

About The Role

  • Lead the product management team in developing and executing a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's overall strategic goals and vision.
  • Ensuring product excellence and customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our market landscape, customer needs, and industry trends. Leverage this knowledge to identify new business opportunities and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of product initiatives.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the product management team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Develop and implement effective product management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and drive results.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Keeping up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.

Your Experience & Skills

  • Over 10 years of experience in product management, including 3+ years as vice president of product management.
  • A background in IoT/multidisciplinary products, specializing in our market. Retail technology experience would be an asset. 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and launching innovative products from ideation to market.
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, agile environment, thriving in a dynamic and rapidly changing industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, able to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional time management skills, both personally and professionally, to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Solid business understanding, with the ability to identify market opportunities, analyze business requirements, and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
