Shopic is an AI start-up specializing in retail solutions and shopping experiences. Our technology turns any shopping cart into a smart cart. Powered by computer vision and data analytics, the cart lets shoppers grab the products they want and skip the checkout lines when they leave the store.

We are based in Tel Aviv, deployed by major grocery chains worldwide, and employ some of the best minds in the AI sector. We are looking for a new member to join our team, to oversee our store operations at a customer’s sites in Israel.

The Regional Store Success Manager will manage a team of Store Success Managers, working at a retailer’s stores and supporting a cutting-edge technological solution. The Regional Store Success Manager will build and execute training programs and business plans for the store operations.

The Store Success Managers team is responsible for leading the on-site operational team and providing training and support. The team’s work consists of conducting day-to-day operations to meet sales and operational targets, provide technical support, train staff, and provide feedback from on-site issues to the Shopic various teams.

In addition to managing the Store Success Managers Team, the Regional Store Success Manager will act as an escalating POC for the retailer.

About The Role

  •  Recruit and lead a team of managers responsible for promoting and supporting Shopic’s solution in-store
  • Oversee set-up of new stores including logistical aspects, software customizations and recruitment of the relevant support staff
  •  Create and promote procedures and best practices for operational processes
  • Meet sales and operational targets
  • Monitor shopper utilization and needs, escalate issues to relevant teams at Shopic
  • Be a Shopic ambassador at the stores, advocate our product among retail employees and consumers
  • Act as an escalation POC for the retailer and personally oversee stores post-launch

Your Experience & Skills

  • 4+ experience from the retail industry
  • 2+ years managing on-site operations- recruiting, leading a team, and managing commercial and service KPIs
  •  Strong sales orientation, extensive customer-facing experience, and managing sales targets
  • Technical orientation and the ability to learn how to troubleshoot on a basic level
  • Passion for service
  • Self-motivated and able to lead an operation independently, presenting good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment under pressure
  • knowing how to train and motivate the team members
